Aarhus attracts international expert in adult psychiatry
Stefan Leucht has just been appointed professor at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital. Here he will contribute with his extensive knowledge within psychopharmacological treatment in adult psychiatry.
A researcher with a high international standard is coming to AU and AUH. The German professor Stefan Leucht is one of the leading experts in evidence-based psychopharmacological treatment.
Stefan Leucht has accepted a five-year honorary professorship, during which he will hold four annual all day workshops on psychopharmacological treatment for a limited group of psychiatric specialists in adult psychiatry. The aim of the professorship is to use the younger doctors to strengthen the scientific – and thus the evidence-based – approach to psychopharmacological treatment within the organisation.
Stefan Leucht’s first visit to Aarhus will take place on 10 September. He has been appointed until summer 2019.
