Small Group Communication

This course, Small Group Communication, will help you develop a soft skill that is routinely named by business executives as an essential attribute sought out in new hires: Teamwork. Through critical and creative thinking, you will learn and apply small group communication theories to everything from television shows to real-world problem-solving tasks, and you will ultimately learn how to become a stronger team player in your academic and professional groups.

Exam

 

The grade for the course consists of two parts:

  • Coursework counting app. 40 %
  • 3-hour written exam counting app. 60 %

The written exam is online and presence in Aarhus is not nescessary.

Admission Requirements

To apply for the course you must either be enrolled in a bachelor's degree, have a bachelor's degree or have passed a qualifying entry examination.

Amanda Lohiser is an assistant professor in communication at State University of New York at Fredonia. Her main academic interests are Socio-emotional intelligence in organizational settings, facial expressions of emotion, effects of new media on communication and expression of self through new media.
