Entrepreneurial venturing encompasses goals, strategies, and actions that entrepreneurs and managers envision, conceptualize, and implement to create a business and to ensure its survival, prosperity, and growth. Yet in today’s world, they are challenged by the new economy with fast developments and cutting-the-edge technologies that often change how consumers live and traditional marketplaces work.
Therefore, this course will apply core entrepreneurship concepts and models to the context of new, high-growth industries that rely on internet technologies, where successful entrepreneurs have created disruptive innovations and were in need of tools and structured processes to start and grow new economy ventures into thriving businesses.
