Here is a list to help you with the procedures you need to complete before leaving Denmark.
Your Transcript of Records will be available in July/August for Spring semester and February/March for Fall semester. Please note that any re-examinations will delay your transcript.
Your transcript lists only those courses that you have passed; if you require a record of your exam attempts, please contact your AU coordinator.
Arts
Your transcript of Records will be sent to your AU email address and to the international coordinator at your home university. Upon request, a paper version of your transcript can be made available.
BSS and ST students
Your transcript of Records will be sent to your AU email address and to the international coordinator at your home university.
Health
Your transcript will be sent to you AU-email address, and will not automatically be forwarded to you home coordinator unless requested. Upon request, a paper version of your transcript can be made available.
Happens automatically. The National Register (CPR), registered your semester end date when you applied for CPR in the beginning of your semester, and will cancel your CPR number after that date (unless you have informed them another departure date).
When you leave the country you are no longer covered by the Danish Social security.
Remember to destroy your health insurance card.
If you have had a job in Denmark and move abroad, your taxability has to be determined. In this case, you must inform the tax authorities.
If you have had a job in Denmark, you must contact ATP in order to receive your holiday pay.
Postal mail sent to your address here in Denmark will not be passed on to your new address abroad but will be returned to the sending part if the address appears on the envelope.
Inform your insurance company and your bank.
