The KatScope is a novel single use thoracoscope and laparoscope developed by SurgeryTech ApS. Through a single port the KatScope enables the doctor to perform both diagnostic procedures and therapy in the thoracic and/or abdominal cavity (inspection, biopsies, suction/salvage, talc pleuraodesis etc.). The KatScope has the benefits of: no cross contamination, no reprocessing, no availability issues, low cost-in-use and transparent contracting. The KatScope is designed for a simple and low cost set up in the clinical setting and still maintaining high quality treatment.
