If you are a bachelor or master student at Aarhus University arriving from a country outside the EU or Nordic countries, there are several housing options available to you in Aarhus.

We strongly recommend that you sign up at different waiting lists as early as possible and also before you know whether or not you have been admitted to AU. You will always be able to decline a housing offer in case you find out you don't need it.

One option is to apply for housing through AU, and you can find detailed information about the application process, deadlines (May 1st for autumn term, November 1st for spring term), and different types of accommodation below.

Another option is to apply for a dorm room through Student Housing Aarhus.

You can also apply for Studieboligerne or book a furnished apartment.

Additionally, you can search for housing on the private market.
