Qualification requirements
The qualification requirements for appointment as assistant professor requires Master's degree or engineering degree as well as three years of relevant practical experience or a PhD degree. The qualification level for associate professors will correspond to that achieved on the basis of a 3-year appointment as assistant professor, but which could also be obtained in other ways.

The applicant must document teaching experience at minimum Bachelor's degree level
Solid English skills - as teaching in English can/will occur
Flexible - as teaching evenings and weekends can/will occur

It is a requirement in order to achieve permanent employment as associate professor at Aarhus BSS that the applicant prior to the employment has completed the faculty's course in student guidance , as well as the faculty's course on blended learning - Go Online by Centre for Teaching and Learning. Where the applicant has not completed the courses before commencement of employment, continued employment will be conditional upon the courses being completed within five years.

Terms of employment
The appointment is in accordance with the Collective Agreement for Academics Employed by the State .
